Set UT (Universal Time) for Ephemeris and Star-Finder (that, if visible, automatically updates).
Location sets geographical position and atmospheric parameters;
Catalog loads catalogs while Use selects one. The package contains INDEX.DAT catalog with 1535 stars and a SAMPLE.DAT file that you can use to learn how to customize your catalog.
Finder and Ephemeris buttons display respective windows.
Small arrow reduce and restore window size and you know what other buttons do (or not?).

Stereographic or parallel projection of objects you want to display with View, based on coordinate type you choosed - altitude and azimuth or right ascension and declination - with Coords.
Clicking an object you'll know name, magnitudine (stars and planets), spectral type (stars), hour angle (sun); age and illumination (moon).

Electronic ephemeris with fundamental coordinates of stars, sun, planets and moon - altitude and azimut or hour angle or (360-)right ascension and declination - in astronomical or for navigation format. Rise, transit and set time with azimut and altitude are also computed.

You can filter stars to display and, if you want, sort them on a field.
In the previous pic, buttons for planets (F4 ed F5), moon illumination, buttons for stars (F8 ed F9), a list to choose coordinates type, etc.

Right clicking an object displays this windows, where planet and earth data are compared (in the pic you can see the moon).
