Beaches are on east and south-east coast of the island, except for la Caletta; Northern and west coasts are very rocky. In some places, except for the the sea, you might think to be on the moon;

Guardia dei Mori is the highest «mountain» in the island, up to 600 feets.

The island is full of damp areas with typical flora and fauna.

The natural monument called “Le Colonne” is in an area with many rocky pools.
